Donate Books & Other Materials
You can donate books/magazines/journals/other materials to C2O though we regretfully cannot accept all donations. Books not put in collection will be donated to other library, or put on sale to raise funds for the library.
Books/materials we accept:
- Fiction & literature books
- Local comics and graphic novels
- Non-fiction books, particularly with content of relevance to our collection, i.e. humanities, history, literature and/or Indonesian Studies
- Magazines and journals, particularly from these titles: Horison, Prisma, National Geographic, Wacana (FIB UI), Gong, Archipel, Indonesia, BITLV, Daedalus, Paris Review.
- Antiquarian, rare and collectable books
- VCDs or DVDs (Films and documentaries)
- (audio)books on CDs (must be operable)
- Ex-library copies (please do not remove treatments)
Books/materials we do not accept:
- Harlequin romance novels
- Self-help, marketing books
- Activity books (colouring, sudoku, crosswords, etc.)
You can drop the books at C2O, Jl. Dr. Cipto 20 Surabaya 60264, during library hours, or contact us at info@c2o-library.net for further enquiries. For large quantity of books/materials, please email a list identifying the item(s) to be donated first, thank you!
