Screened in collaboration with ORE, Other Rag Enterprise, a store that are about educating, outspeaking local’s timid demeanor, and giving a lot of smiles and poises presenting brand we love! The thought of creating ORE Store popped out after a quite long time meeting juggernauts of great friends, artists, and designers at gigs, parties, galleries, and friend’s houses. And having a great chances to travel overseas and see such staggering diversity in youth cultures and opportunities doesn’t make us leave our roots, but more like being encouraged to rotate our household to enthuse the locals and support the myriad aptitude towards fashion and art!

Design the New Business [official trailer] from dthenewb on Vimeo.

The world seems to be getting more complex…more challenging. The issues are daunting. Together they form an ever more complex ecosystem in which businesses operate. Traditional ways of doing business simply don’t work anymore. Successful companies have instead implemented new ways of thinking…in order to analyze problems and turn challenges into opportunities. Design the New Business is a film dedicated to investigating how designers and businesspeople are working together in new ways to solve the wicked problems facing business today.

Design and business can no longer be thought of as distinct activities with individual goals. The film examines how are they joining forces by bringing together an international collection of design service providers, education experts, and businesses that have incorporated design as part of their core approach. Design the New Business features inspiring case studies and insightful discussions, helping to illustrate the state of the relationship, and how it needs to continue evolving to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

Design the New Business does not intend to provide all of the answers; rather it is meant to introduce a variety of ways in which the two disciplines are integrating, and to trigger your thoughts about how to assimilate design and business in your own situation. Or perhaps you have other insights you would like to share… we invite you to join the conversation!

Organised as part of Design It Yourself festival-conference.
