Kingsley Ng is an inter-disciplinary artist from Hong Kong working internationally, with a focus on community-oriented projects, often through meticulous spatial interventions using light and sound.
His practices are not to create new forms and objects, but often to highlight the disregarded and forgotten, and to rediscover and reestablish sensible relationships between people and their surroundings.

Kingsley Ng will share some of his past projects including his participation at the Echigo Tsumari Triennial in Japan, Land Art Biennial in Mongolia, Guangzhou Triennial in China, and the Ircam Centre Pompidou in France.

Ng received postgraduate training at Le Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts in France, an MSc Sustainable Design degree from the University of Edinburgh in the UK and a BFA New Media Art degree from the Ryerson University in Canada. He is the recipient of the Asian Cultural Council Fellowship Award, Hong Kong Arts Development Council Best Artist Award in Media Arts, Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Awards 2009. He is currently a lecturer at the HKBU Hong Kong Academy of Visual Arts.

Since its very beginning, WAFT focus has been on the tension and interplay at the interdisciplinary art practices in Surabaya, Indonesia. It was initiated through the efforts of a group of people – people who are passionate about what they do, backed by lengthy experience in event organizer and intense documentation of art events and performances. These references are instrumental to the development of educative yet innovative medium and creative playground
