Pertigaan adalah proyek penyusunan peta untuk berjalan kaki di tiga kawasan di Surabaya bagian utara: kawasan Eropa, kawasan Arab, dan kawasan Pecinan. Mengajak Anda untuk berjalan kaki menikmati Surabaya melalui arsitektur, kuliner, sejarah, heritage, vernacular design, dan kehidupan sehari-hari warga. Peta ini dikerjakan oleh Anitha Silvia dan Celcea Tifani dengan bantuan warga setempat mulai Januari – Mei 2016.
Pertigaan is a collaboration project by Anitha Silvia and Celcea Tifani to document the busy northern part of Surabaya—which used to be divided into three different areas: Europe, Arab, and Chinese Quarter—through a walking map. Pertigaan brings the spirit of enjoying the northern part of Surabaya through architecture, culinary, history, heritage, vernacular design, and local’s daily activities by walking.
This is a work in progress and we want to show you some interesting pieces that we have found during our research stage with lots of help from locals from January until May 2016.
