Pasang Surut (Surabaya Utara) merupakan ajang untuk bercerita, memantik rasa penasaran dan memahami kota, dimulai dengan wilayah utara Surabaya. Acara ini memamerkan dan mempresentasikan karya-karya peserta workshop Urbanisme Warga yang telah meneliti daerah Surabaya Utara selama tiga bulan. Diramaikan dengan Ludruk Besud Cak Lupus, Silampukau, dan Piknik Akustik yang diisi oleh Redo Nomadore, Terracotta, Era Listyana Porn Ikebana, dan Dancing Tiger.

The Journey of a Journal with Hannah Kent

Join a conversation Hannah Kent, co-founder of Australian literary journal Kill Your Darlings, and the author of The Good People and Burial Rites, a global bestseller translated into 28 languages. Since its first edition in 2010, Kill Your Darlings has championed new Australian writing in print and online. Hannah will share the journey of Kill Your Darlings and some lessons that we can all learn from!

Hannah Kent’s debut novel, Burial Rites, was translated into twenty-eight languages. It won the ABIA Literary Fiction Book of the Year, and was shortlisted for the Baileys Women’s Prize and the Guardian First Book Award. Hannah’s second novel, The Good People, was published in October 2016.

This is a free event, however capacity is limited.
