SUBstream /səbˈstriːm/
1. Something lying undercurrents, that require a deeper investigation and understanding of the hidden and underlying contexts, environment, and systems. 2. The geographical-historical subjectivities that emerge and flow trans-nationally and influence the (in)formation of social innovation, 3. in continuous cycles of challenging and subsuming into the so-called mainstream. 4. Our subject position in Surabaya with its long history of trade, resistance, and port cultures, thus the deeply intertwined relations between art, culture, trade, and politics.
Ketentuan karya:
- Mengirimkan 4 karya foto yang merespon salah satu (atau lebih) dari empat makna SUBstream yang telah dijabarkan di atas.
- Keempat foto tersebut boleh saling berkaitan dalam satu seri, atau boleh individual
- Menyertakan keterangan karya maks. 200 kata per foto, atau 800 kata untuk keempat foto.
- Menyertakan profil diri, surel, dan situs web
Karya yang terpilih akan diterbitkan dalam antologi “SUBstream Photo Zine” dan akan dipamerkan di:
- ZINE WORLD, Photography Edition, di Doomed Gallery, London, pada bulan Juni 2015.
- PRINTilan, Design It Yourself, Oktober 2015.
