Kentaro Taki is a Japanese video artist who joined “O.K. Videoart Festival” in 2003, 2007 and 2013 in Jakarta. This time he visits Surabaya to work with local collaborators to develop new project focuses on the relationship between people’s memory and their living situation. He shows his past project in Japan and several countries to outlook and shape the possibilities of his project in Surabaya.

When money drives almost all activity on the planet, it’s essential that we understand it. Yet simple questions often get overlooked, questions like; where does money come from? Who creates it? Who decides how it gets used? And what does this mean for the millions of ordinary people who suffer when the monetary, and financial system, breaks down?
